This page sets out the simple procedure of how to buy items from our website.
IMPORTANT
The most important condition for you to know is our FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis, that means all items will be sold to the earliest received email. So, if we receive two emails (say the first email at 9.00am and the second email at 9.10am) with both buyers wanting to buy the same item, it WILL be sold to the buyer of the email received at 9.00am. The second buyer will be informed accordingly. Of some items we may have multiple copies and when that happens both buyers will receive their item and the listing stays on the website until the last stock item is sold. When the last item has been sold the listing will be removed or receive a red SOLD button.
In these terms and conditions, “we” “us” and “our” refers to Klassiek Stamps. Your access to and use of all information on this website is provided subject to the following terms and conditions. This website is created and used by Klassiek Ltd trading as Klassiek Stamps and as Klassiek Collectables.
We reserve the right to amend this Notice at any time and your use of the website following any amendments will represent your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions as amended. We therefore recommend that each time you access our website you read these terms and conditions.
Each item has a lot number in the description. Browse through the items for sale and write on a piece of paper the lot numbers.
When you are finished browsing click on the “CONTACT” button in top menu which will take you to the contact form.
Carefully fill in your details and in your message write the lot numbers. Click on send and you will hear from us as soon as possible.
When we receive your email we will then put aside the items you want to purchase and prepare an invoice for you stating the list of the items (if available) and their prices, the P&P and the total. The invoice will also have details of our bank account. PLEASE NOTE: Where there are more than one buyers of the same product, the buyer with the earliest email date/time will purchase the item. No correspondence will be entered into in regards to these decisions.
We will then send you an email with the invoice attached.
Please check your email and invoice carefully and if there is a mistake contact us with details. If you are happy with the invoice please pay the total amount into our bank account stated on the invoice through online banking or cash at your own risk and send us an email that payment has been made.
Once the payment is cleared we will then post/courier your parcel and send you an email that this has been done.
All lots over $50 will require “tracking” or “courier” posting. Rural delivery will be extra for all parcel mail (note that all “tracking” mail is deemed as “parcel mail”. All items sent by standard mail will be at the buyer’s own risk and Klassiek Stamps will not be responsible for any loss or damage during transit, although at our own discretion we may look at the circumstances of each such case.

Payments can be made through “online banking” – “cash” – “bank deposit” ( amounts under $10 will attract an additional bank fee of 65c if payments are made over the counter at a bank.)
We will describe the items as well as we can and you must carefully read the descriptions and check the photos. If you have any questions please contact us.
If you are not happy with an item you MUST contact us within 7 days of purchase and if we agree to refund you must send the item back to us in original condition (we will compare with photo kept on file), well wrapped and posted to us at your own expense. Once we receive the item we will check the condition and if satisfied we will issue the refund for the cost of the item only.
At the moment we will only sell within New Zealand.
Privacy Policy: The information collected by Klassiek Stamps will only be used to process your orders and any other correspondence. We will also use the information to enhance our website so that your experience will be even more enjoyable and we will see you back for more visits. We do NOT sell or share any information about individual users and will NOT pass on any of your personal details to any other parties.
